Spain and Russia have signed an agreement that will allow Spain to diversify its current energy sources. Until now, almost all the gas that came to the Southwest of Europe did so through Algeria, with the usual risks that it involves.
That’s why, the visit of Russia’s man in power Vladimir Putin President Alexander Medvedev to Madrid, came along whit a bunch of bilateral energetic agreements. Thanks to this new cooperation, Spain will too enjoy next winter the shortage in the gas supply. Lucky that it is always sunny in Spain...
The agreement also contemplates the possibility of Gazprom, the Russian monopolistic company for gas distribution and production, to explore new markets in Latin America by the hand of the Spanish Gas Natural.
All that seems like a prize a bit higher than what it could have been if finally Gazprom had took over the 20% of Repsol.
But apparently, that hasn’t been all Mr. Medvedev and Spanish President, Mr. José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, talked about.
The translation:
Mr. Zapatero: “Tourism is a preferent economic issue in the relationship between Spain and Russia. Why? Because there is a huge increase in the number of Spanish tourists going to Russia. We had already more than 500.000 people going to Russia [last year]. Therefore, we have made an agreement to stimulate, to strength, to fuck... to support... these numbers...”
I can see a second Blue Division on its way to Moscow, this time loaded of condoms...

Are you afraid? Well, this works in that way. First you do what scares you and it's later when you get the courage
