Blackwater -> Xe -> ¿e?

It looks like the economic breakdown strikes hard too the guns-for-hire business. Meanwhile, Blackwater rebranding goes on.

First it was the introduction into new markets. Whatever it was spies-for-hire, protection against pirates, personalization of firearms, surveilance and intelligence gathering with drones, K-9 training (canine, for police dogs), the low-cost, low-altitude launching of supplies (widely used by the US Army in Afghanistan) or even creating their own air force -quite modest, we may say.

Lately they even tried luck out the guns business with the protection and training of pro athletes.

Later the company changed its obscure name for the more criptic, neutral and not easily pronounceable “Xe”. It made as well a lay off of workers after losing the contract to fabricate the successor of the Humvee.

What’s now? Well, the spokesman, founder and CEO of the firm, Eric Prince, announced that he is stepping down.

"I'm a little worn out by the whole thing, the politics of it all," Prince tells the Wall Street Journal. "Me not being part of the equation reduces the 'X' on the thing."

I guess that means the company is now called "e?"

Are you afraid? Well, this works in that way. First you do what scares you and it's later when you get the courage
